D11 — Protective and Management Factors
Monitoring and Case Management
Description
A responsible team can monitor changes, coordinate supports, and update plans.
Rationale
A coordinated team — threat management, clinical, educational, workplace, family — with shared situational awareness and a clear escalation plan is the operational foundation of effective risk management. Team coordination is a structural protective factor that does not depend on the person's cooperation and can continue to function even as the person's condition changes.
